    As the Product Developer, you will be working closely with design and commercial teams, partnering with global factories and trading houses to develop the collection from initial concept through to delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Partner closely with Design to develop the collection in line with brand aesthetic demonstrating product knowledge, ownership, quality and attention to detail.
    Launching designs with suppliers from prototype to production.
    Cost engineering of each product to achieve and maximize margin and negotiation of product costs with suppliers.
    Manage the business/Critical Path, ensuring that the development process adheres to the key milestones.
    Day to day communication with overseas external partners on a CMT and Fully factored basis.
    Set styles up on the system and manage the development range plan and critical path.
    Sample Management in house and with manufacturers to ensure availability for all teams at the required times.
    Sourcing suppliers for new and developing product areas.

    Key Requirements:- 

    Product Developer with at least 4 years’ experience.
    Driver of the critical path calendar within the organization.
    Expertise in developing multi-product women’s soft separates with clear technical understanding.
    Solution orientated; problem solver, flexible and adaptable and resilient.
    Strong and confident communication skills.
    Negotiator, influencer and collaborator.
    Process and systems orientated, detailed, accurate and highly organized.
    Strong time management skills working in high paced environment.
    Hardworking with a flexible attitude.
    The ideal candidate would preferably have worked within lingerie and swimwear as well as having a clear woven and knit garment understanding.

    Garment Technologist

    An exciting opportunity to be part of a business that supplies quality garments to high street brands. This successful and developing business is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic womenswear Garment Technologist on a 6 month contract.

    This person must have Arcadia experience and know the IBFL system.

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Understanding of seasonal trends, blocks and fabrics.
    Oversee the garment sealing process including attending fitting sessions with buyers, noting alteration and amendment instructions, checking sketches and trimmings and ensuring finished garments meet customer requirements.
    Understand customer systems and processes from sealing to production.
    Maintain up to date paperwork and schedules ensuring that the work of the department is fully documented and delivery dates are met.
    Ftting and sealing of garments from order stage through to gold seal.
    Chase red seal and gold samples back from the factory in plenty of time for fit meetings.
    Makes fit appointments with relevant customers at the beginning of every week.
    Attend all relevant fit appointments.
    Prepare garments for fit appointments, spec and check all to customer requirements.
    Follow up and chase back comments and samples after meetings.
    Work closely with the pattern cutters to ensure customer requirements are achieved accurately.
    Dealing with factory and production queries.

    Key Requirements:-

    Proven track record as a Garment Technologist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and available immediately.
    Proven experience within a supplier.
    Must have Arcadia experience and know the IBFL system.
    Ability to communicate externally and internally in the business.
    Experience in multi-product fabrics.
    Must be a good problem solver, strong organisation skills.
    Good communicator to liaise with colleagues, customers and factories.
    Must be able to work on their own initiative and be well organised but also be a team player.

    Fabric & Trims Coordinator

    We are looking for a Fabric and Trims Coordinator to join an established yet growing supplier of Outerwear garments to a number of high street accounts. You will need to be highly organised and be able to use your own initiative while working in a fast paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities and Requirements:-

    Managing all of the outerwear trims and fabrics for all of the high street accounts catered to by the company.
    Updating and managing the Critical Path daily.
    Filing and organising the trim files.
    Arranging fabric strike offs and lab dips for new orders with the FE factories.
    Daily communication with the Buyers and FE factories.
    Dealing with trim and fabric enquiries.
    Assisting the Account Managers with new order and trim enquiries.
    Chasing the approvals of lab dips, strike offs and trims from the Buyers.
    Attending trim meetings to discuss new orders and developments.
    Overseeing and managing the Production intern.
    Arranging label files and sending labels to the factories.
    Checking fabric and trim submissions from the factory and ensuring that they are correct.
    Organising couriers and general admin work.
    Taking on new customers and understanding their requirements, reading manuals etc.

    Gerber Pattern Cutter

    Our client, a respected and established luxury womenswear brand are recruiting for an experienced and proficient Gerber trained Pattern Cutter to work closely with the Owner, Head of Design and Technical department, and be involved in all aspects of pattern cutting developments and amendments.


    You will need experience and knowledge working across RTW collections on delicate garments using high end luxury fabrics from double faced Cashmere, Silk and wool fabrics across multi products including Woven and Knits as well as being a competent Gerber user.


    Key Responsibilities:-

    Translate the Designers concept into a prototype pattern and work with the machinists to produce garments within the required timescales

    In conjunction with the Designer, review the prototype garments making appropriate changes until the fit is approved, ensuring that all critical path requirements are met

    Promote to the production library a final pattern version electronically/Gerber

    Produce a detailed product specification for every pattern/style

    Liaise with Designer on future concepts and new fits or interpretations

    Manage the production of samples allocated to your area of responsibility

    Update product development teams as required on sample pattern and specification status

    Manage and maintain the style portfolio for your area of responsibility in terms of pattern or specification updates in season


    Key Requirements:-

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Pattern Cutter within a luxury brand

    Gerber trained

    Good technical understanding of garment construction

    A commercial eye for fashion

    Attention to detail extremely important

    Multi-product experience

    Excellent communicator

    Luxury fashion experience extremely important

    An understanding of creative environment
